Artist Bio

Elizabeth Luna, a sophomore student at the Kansas City Art Institute, is expected to graduate in 2027. Luna is an interdisciplinary artist fascinated by fiber, photography, and more. Luna's recent artistic exploration focuses on sculpture, including interactive sculpture such as wearables. Her artistic statement is to use her creative practice to aid the mental process of emotions and self-discovery of inner solace. Luna aims to encourage others to join her in the journey of self-exploration of emotion and be able to facilitate a community through healing in creative expression.
